Even after gaining real time project experience and hands-on expertise during my training at Jenrac, my biggest fear was how I will go about doing my first job and what if I forget something which I have been taught or what if there is something I simply cannot do? In all honesty, at first, when we turned to Jenrac, we were sceptical of whether they could deliver. The sheer size of our organisational need, which required us to train 48 of our permanent employees as end-users in SAP across various modules and 4 of our staff as SAP consultants in FICO, HR, BI and SD. I was unemployed for several months and that’s when a friend who had previously trained in Software Testing (manual and automation) with Jenrac advised me to take up the same course with them as it offered good job prospects. Because I did not have a natural interest in the subject, I thought I would find it extremely boring and would probably quit after a few days but I was wrong. I remember how upset I was when I first approached Jenrac due to the bitter experience I have had previously with a different training provider, which resulted in me failing the SAP FICO certification exam. But my trainer at Jenrac taught me the subject in-depth, and in a manner, I hadn’t experienced previously and gave me the hope, support and tools that I required to re-embark on my mission of becoming a certified SAP FICO consultant. Subsequently, I retook and passed my certification exam and all thanks to Jenrac, I am currently working as a SAP FICO consultant on a contract basis, earning £300 a day. Coming from a non-IT background, I wasn’t too sure which provider would be suitable for me to learn Software Testing (manual and automation) as I knew I would end up asking tonnes of questions in class.
